Brinkmann Pro Series 2630 Gas Grill Review

The Brinkmann Pro Series 2630 is four burner gas grill, which offering a total of 40,000 BTU’s, runs on natural gas. As the cost of natural gas is less than half the price of propane, this makes the 2630 a much more affordable option in the long run than many other models, including Brinkmann’s 2500.

Choosing the 2630 may be particularly interesting for environmentally aware customers, as the fuel is much healthier than propane, producing fewer toxins into the air. The grill comes with a 12 ft, WY fitting hose allowing more than ample measurement lengthwise to be placed in backyards in homes. It also comes with a simple disconnect device for quick and easy use.

Packaged in an easy assembly format, no tools are needed to construct the grill.

The 2630 is a quality machine, which is made from stainless steel and heavy-die cast aluminium and is made to last. It is one of Brinkmann’s premium models and offering so many features for such an affordable price, it is exceptionally popular.

With porcelain coated, reversible cast-iron cooking grates and porcelain-coated warming rack for keeping foods warm or cooking vegetables, the model appears to have everything a grill could want. As well as the four burners, it also has a 12,000 BTU side burner (which comes with a lid for preparation space), which can be used for warming sauces or a more traditional form of cooking.

Unfortunately the Brinkmann 2630 does not advertise or state the country in which it is manufactured. It is generally accepted that grills built in the US or Canada are much better quality than those shipped over from Asia.

As well as the lid over the side burner, the grill has a large stainless steel preparation or storage area. As an innovative twist, the area can be lifted to reveal an insulated ice bucket, suitable of keeping drinks and refreshments chilled.

Offering over 550 square inches of pure cooking area, the grill can hold up to a huge 50lb of food which is more than enough to cook for a large family or small party. The grill retains its heat well, largely to the quality cooking grates and warms up within 4 – 6 minutes, excellent for a grill of its size. On the downside, the grill does have a little heat leakage. Overall it doesn’t cause a major problem but it is something that the grills counterpart the Weber Genesis S-310 doesn’t suffer from.

The grill uses one touch electronic ignition for simple lighting and has other touches which add to the 2630’s desirability.

It has a heavy, double lined hood, something which out shines the premium placed Weber Spirit E-320. Likewise, the use of stainless steel stay cool handles and a professional temperature gauges shows that Brinkmann has put in a lot of thought in the design of this model.
