Weber Spirit E-310 Gas Grill Review

If you are looking for a good, reliable grill this summer, that won’t need replacing any time soon, then the Weber Spirit E-310 gas grill is well worth your attention. Although it is possible to get a grill for the same price (around $500-$600) that has more features and probably a larger cooking area, this grill is very well built and will stand up to a lot of use. Providing you don’t need a very large grill then this is ideal for barbecues on the back porch. Some people may find the grill a little bit low but there is not much to complain about when it comes to performance as the grill takes less than ten minutes pre-heat time to reach full grill heat.

The Weber Spirit E-310 has three 12,000 BTU stainless steel burners. The grill has 424 square inches of primary cooking space and 536 square inches of cooking area in total. There is 36,000 BTU maximum output from the main burners and the grill is made from porcelain enameled steel, cast aluminium as well as 304 stainless steel construction. The grill has cross over push button pizo electric ignition and flare up is considerably reduced by porcelain enameled flavorizer bars. The grill has porcelain coated welded steel cooking grates and a hood mounted thermometer. The cover and propane tank are sold separately.

This is a well constructed grill and you get a 24/7 support warranty if you have any problems. You don’t get much in the way of frills with the Weber Spirit E-310 but it is built to last and that is what you pay for. In an attempt to keep the price down, Weber has moved production of this grill over to China, not good news for a lot of grill fans who like their machine to be US or Canadian built.

If you are looking for a no-nonsense grill that does what it says on the tin, then this is a good buy and one that is built to last. The cooking area may not be large enough for some people and there is not a great deal of preparation space, but this could be remedied by using the side table for plates and condiments. Altogether the Weber Spirit E-310 offers a solidly constructed piece of equipment that is good for simply grilling food and will do so time and time again, without any problems.
